Kristin Paget was responsible for getting Microsoft greatly improve the security on Windows Vista. Now Apple has contracted her to do the same on Mac OS X.
She was not authorized to talk about Windows Security, but her NDA expired on 2011 and she spoke at Black Hat Conference. She delayed the realease of Windows Vista while the team was doing a good job looking for vulnerabilities.
Since mid 2012 she was working at Recursion Ventures and she was contracted by Apple by September. She was the one that build the famous cellphone-intercepting base station at the Defcon in 2010. In 2011 she said she likes Unix and don’t like Windows but didn’t mentioned about Apple.
Previous to 2010 she was know as Chris Paget before she change genger.
